I  could not resist sharing another shot from RIAT 2023. This classic Lancaster Bomber was the only plane to make the memorial flight at the show. The weather was too wet and windy for the Spitfire and Hurricane to join it. A beautiful sight to see and hear.   In extras there is a Messerschmitt Me 262. This was the first jet developed by the Germans for WW2. Fortunately for us, it was too late to do anything significant against the allies. This is the first time this aircraft has been seen in UK airspace since 1945.
