When it rains....

... it rains!  But it doesn't last long!
On our way out this morning we ended up in the Trafford centre (after a baked potato, chilli and cheese in Costco.) In John Lewis a really nice man spent ages explaining the possibilities of canon printers.  The higher the number the better the printer for photos  (and the more expensive!)  Unfortunately the one we worked out would be best for me they did not sell!  Home and the sun shines!

The Proms:
Last night I watched 'The four seasons' by Antonio Vivaldi.  The violinist Pekka Kuusisto was fantastic!  In this arrangement they had a Cittern playing with bits of folk songs interspersed.  Ale Carr played the cittern.
They also played Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 in C Major.
Another great night!  All this after THE tennis match!
