Road trip

A fun day out with the Gang of 4 visiting Crawick Multiverse in Dumfries and Galloway, a land art installation designed by Charles Jencks. V knows the area very well having lived nearby for a couple of decades a while back so we visited her old house and drove up and back down the Scaur Glen following the Scaur Water and then on to Glenkin where there used to be a fine selection of Henry Moore sculptures, over the years they have all been stolen or removed To our knowledge there has been trace of the perpetrators or the sculptures.
It is a beautiful and undiscovered part of SW Scotland, once off the main roads all we saw were a couple of tractors. A dead end at one point with no turning space provided a small drama and a driving challenge I could have done without, however we did see several red kites and a golden eagle.
