Statuesque
Linlithgow Palace was closed for an extended period of time, amazing how a long break causes you to see things you never noticed before!
I was somewhat taken aback to see this facet on the 16th century fountain. Not as offended as Oliver Cromwell's puritans were in 1650 when they occupied the Palace, they were so offended by the gross moral turpitude of the fountain that they smashed parts of it.
