Making an effort

Tonight we have travelled to Stafford after work. Not ideal but we have to collect my new car tomorrow from Wales! We had to stop at the Services for sustainance and timing didn't allow us to get to my favourite ones so Carlisle it was. Generally a depressing concrete, functional building with a few picnic tables outside. This sunflower was the most cheery bit and it did make me smile if slightly forlorn. 
The journey was blighted by an M6 overnight closure and other roadworks so literally arrived and now bedtime.
