Demolition Don

Don has a brother who drives a van for Lambeth Council - we have a running joke that he tries to knock me over whenever he sees me jogging round Clapham Common....or I tell him that I'm plain clothes police and he better prove he has a drivers licence, that kind of thing. Anyway, I bumped into Don today outside a derelict local pub called The Bank Of Swans. His team are going to knock it down as part of a much needed rebuilding plan ( it might become a nursery.) We took a minute to admire the graffiti left by some squatters. Nothing Banksy going on, but I still just had to ask him if he had a permit from Tate Modern to dispose of the valuable artworks.
