Featured photo is part of T's set up for his ant colony summer project . 
He often looks for things and ingredients from our kitchen (honey for his ants, containers for the next brood, etc), materials and tools from Gramps' shop and requests Gramps create mini-homes for his now booming ant population. He has expressed his desire to have something from Ants Canada's shop next Christmas and fluon asap.

Title is the nickname T gave to the unknown ant specie. He disagrees with Google search results and calls Google dumb for identifying this ant as an Odontomachus Bauri --trap jaw. 

In the extra is T, peeking carefully in the main ant colony habitat Gramps built for him. Learned today that his ants are light sensitive so even if I'd like to attempt a macro shot of them, I couldn't.
