Robin with moulting plumage

Seen from my study window, this robin has been keeping in the shadows while it changes its feathers. Several species have been doing the same thing in recent times.

Several long-tailed tits have now returned after an absence of about two months, which I'm very pleased about. I was rather worried when they weren't around, as  some have been nesting nearby and rearing their young.
