Made in England

One of my badminton buddies brought his wooden racquet today. He doesn’t often use it because he doesn’t want to break it. It is eighty years old and used to belong to his mother. It’s good to see a proper old wooden racquet, but it’s about twice the weight of the modern ones. The weight can be an advantage,  the lack of “ whippiness” possibly isn’t. Anyway he thinks it’s his lucky racquet, the rest of us are not so sure.
Entering it for Tiny Tuesday because of the tiny letters on the side saying “ Made in England”. Something you don’t often see these days.
