At last

The hydrangea is looking much more healthy this year and has some lovely deep pink blooms on it at last.

Also, at long last, a friend and I have met up after many years of not seeing each other. We first met when we both used to work on archaeological digs at the weekend.  She is now in her eighties, but absolutely does not look it!  She keeps very fit and still dances.  She enjoyed seeing our garden and was able to name two of our bushes as she is quite knowledgeable.  I forgot to take a photo of her, so hence the hydrangea!
