A good crop
The greenhouse in Pollok Park was open today so Keta and I had a chance to view the ripening tomatoes.
On our way out I spoke to a couple of the gardeners about the efficiency of the new new netting spread over many of the veggies plots ….. it certainly stopped a Large White having a feast on the cabbage leaves.
I asked if I might have some of the rhubarb and as the gardeners don’t pick it I was allowed to help myself. About half a dozen stalks picked and I now have a large pot of stewed rhubarb cooling before freezing.
