An evening of work in the attic tonight.  Managed to do a bit of track weathering and put down some ballast at the engine shed.

Then I managed to do a bit of practice weathering on a TTA tank wagon, see extra.  It is a cheap wagon that lets me practice different techniques before starting to work on some of the more expensive rolling stock.

I think the difference is quite good but a lot more practice will be required before I start on any of the main collection.
