Shrooms in the hood

The warm wet weather activated my fungal radar and I went down to the field along the river where, sure enough, among the cowpats and the ragwort, little white globes were pushing through the grass. 

The extra is another sign of the times. Why do grey squirrels do this? It's only July for heaven's sake. It's nuts!
