Guernsey and beyond

By Gsyguy

Sign of the times...

A blip for the non Guerns.

Growing was the main industry of the island until the 1980's - when this was overtaken by the finance sector.

Sadly, this is just one of many greenhouses that is beyond repair - it is a lot cheaper (with out climate) to import fruit and tomatoes - Guernsey once being famous for it's Guernsey toms.

Another sunny day here - gardening again - I almost have a tan !
