Epic

The old harbour is being converted into a residential area. The other week, a small part of it was opened to the public. A new promenade runs along the north quay. To get there, a pedestrian and bicycle bridge has been built from the south quay. The first photo is taken from the bridge. If you look closely, you can see a sauna (bastu) at the quayside. It is not quite finished yet, but when it opens it is going to be a popular place, believe me.
Extras: 
Canals have been built through the future residential area and on one of the beaches something called a pixel staircase has been made. Here you can sit and relax when the weather permits. 
Along the river is two swimming pools with river water. It must be cold, but the lady in the photo had just finished a dip in the pool. 
And as I walked along the north quay, it struck me that this was an epic walk. It felt a bit solemn to be able to move around in the area that had previously been inaccessible.
