End of an era

Noo left primary school today. Life is full of endings, but also new beginnings….I guess.


I couldn’t make the service, but I heard that his speech went well. This little excerpt tugged at the heart strings, and I shared it with Oscar’s mum. Noo and Oscar were inseparable during reception and year 1, until Oscar went to private school. Their friendship has endured and will continue to do so, I hope.

I have been a parent at this very small school since 2008, and I will miss it. We are donating my MiL’s piano because we don’t have space for it at home. That will ease my separation angst.
