Never ever a dull moment

It’s been a fairly uneventful day, apart from an outing to collect stuff for a delayed Mandela Day event.

I met Arnie at Doppio for an early supper as he will be at the squash club tomorrow night.

My phone then started going crazy with messages from some of our young folk checking on each other, especially those who get their transport from the Bree Street Taxi Rank.

Fortunately they had all departed a while before a suspected gas explosion happened, causing chaos in an already chaotic area of the city.

No reports yet on casualties but as there are taxi’s on their sides, and the road completely collapsed in areas I fear there will be a few.
