Have Your Cake…

My lovely friend Janine made Poppy this beautiful cake for her birthday. We did light the candles and sing HB to Pops yesterday but didn’t try the cake because we were going out for dinner. The first thing I did when I got back from work today was cut myself a slice to have with a cup of coffee. It’s a red velvet cake and absolutely delicious.

Pops is out for a mystery birthday surprise with her friends tonight. It looks like they’ve taken her out for cocktails. She could have a sore head tomorrow.
