In National Dress

We visited Seurasaari today, the island home to the National Museum's wonderful collection of old and historic buildings collected and transported from all over Finland. The oldest one we came across was from about the year 1600. At many of the buildings admission was possible and traditionally costumed guides were on hand to explain the history of the building and something of its origins and uses. This very helpful young lady was seated on the porch while I was making the picture from within the house.
