Wild?

Our 'meadow' is looking good and wild just now, full of life.

But, according to Alan Titchmarsh (TV gardener, soft porn author, and Nigel Farage fan), "'rewilded' gardens are 'catastrophic' for wildlife and reduce biodiversity". He says that his two-acre area he had set aside as a wildflower meadow attracts fewer insects and birds than the rest of his Hampshire garden.  Ermm...I suspect he's doing it wrong or maybe getting ££££s from the Gardening Industry.    Also, 2 acres of just meadow is clearly going to produce less diversity than 2 acres of good mixed planting including trees and shrubs.
