Lawn theatre

Went into Ludlow this morning to drop Daughter One off as she was meeting a friend. We had a look round the market and the tourist info then drove to Croft Castle, another NT property, where we enjoyed the huge Walled Garden and had lunch. We wanted to check the place out as we were going back in the evening for the outdoor theatre.

As a birthday present Daughter One had booked us in for a performance of Sense and Sensibility, on the lawn beside the old church. It was hilarious, a very loose interpretation of the book! Excuse the foot in the picture - I worked out how to crop it but couldn't save it!

For once the evening was perfect - sunshine and blue sky right through!
