Abstract Thursday: Green

I always love it when Abstract Thursday provides an excuse to mess around with filters in Photoshop, especially at the moment as I'm due to help with a session on creative techniques at our camera club in a couple of weeks.

Ingeborg has set "green" as today's AT challenge so I went into the garden with the camera. This photo started off as a blend of two deliberately out-of focus shots, one of grass and the other of a small green apple growing on the tree. They were then merged with a "hard Light" blend and fartnarkled with two distortion tweaks - Polar Coordinates then Twirl. (So I just messed around until I got a result I quite liked - great fun!
