Old Moor

Enjoyed a day out with B today, at the RSPB Old Moor nature reserve, which has a visitor centre, 7 viewing hides, walking trails and a cafe with homemade food. We sat in the Bittern hide, hoping to catch a glimpse, but no luck. A new path to explore and a lovely wander around, before a cuppa and toasted sandwich. The sensory garden, above, was beautiful. It stayed dry and fine and we did over 12,000 steps including the walk home. Should sleep well tonight:)
