Central Park
Today Grampy was on Kaitlyn duties, or to be more precise ‘take you granddaughter to the orthodontist’ duties.
This meant organising the emptying of Biskit before I collected them both (granddaughter’s early morning contribution) then driving them both to Peterborough for mid-late morning. This was my first run to the orthodontist as Grandad had taken her before, but Mike’s just had another lower back operation and is laid up at the moment.
I pre-Googled the area and found parking was a nightmare, but there was a city park two or three hundred meters from the surgery where I could walk Biskit. We managed to find a 1 hr space so Biskit and I took a walk to the park while Kaitlyn took a short walk to the orthodontist.
Well the park was well worth the visit, and there were loads of empty 2 hr spaces next to the entrance, so when Kaitlyn came to find us she was told that next time this is where we park the car, and she can walk to the surgery.
Biskit loved it with loads of new VIS (Very Important Sniffs), but the aviary attracted his attention the most. He was fascinated so much we had to do a detour on the way out so he could take another look. Snapshot at extra.
