Stop thief

I do like a little dram of single malt whisky. A bottle lasts me about three years and it was time replenish the stocks.

This bottle came with our online delivery. When I opened the box, I was greeted with the sight of the security tag still in place.
What to do?

I could just snip it off with some edge cutters.

I decided to phone Customer Services who asked me to go to the store to exchange the bottle.

No, said I, and then I noticed that I can open the bottle without removing the tag!
It’s to stop stealing, not drinking

Perhaps with the lid off I will be able to slide the tag off and return it via our next delivery.

And hopefully not be arrested!
