Watery light

I went back to see the new water in the canal. I explored all around the works that have now completely finished and walked along the new paths that were opened yesterday. So many angles and viewpoints to try out. I met many others who were similarly inspired and admiring the potential this brings.

I crossed over to the south side beside the strongly flowing river Frome under the arches of the viaduct. I had come down to try and spot a kingfisher, which I eventually did, without managing to film it. I stood below the new bank of the canal and my eye was at water level. I couldn't resist this shot looking upstream and eastwards towards the area where we live sone quarter of a mile away.

So many reflections will now present themselves, according to the time of day and thus the direction of the sun. The arches looked good too. I will definitely be blipping here again, probably a lot. This view is looking to the bend in the canal which I showed from the other side on Saturday.
