The Allotment

Not exactly mine. I was contemplating applying for one but was worried about the effort involved. I enquired and was told that the available plot was 25' X 75, pretty big but they did have a half plot available at 25' X 25', tempting.

Anyway, before I committed myself, one of the plot owners put out a request for help with their plot for a share of the produce and I pretty much bit their hand off.

This is the plot in question and I did my first 2 hour stint today. I also had a chance to see the half plot that has now been taken, it's a jungle! So much work to get it fit for purpose never mind productive.
