T Shirt audit

The clothes audit has moved on to the jeans and T Shirt section of my extensive wardrobe. I’m trying to chuck out stuff I haven’t worn in ages and there have been a few runs to the charity shop.

This Sounds T Shirt is an heirloom though. I saved up coupons every week in the paper and sent them off for a shirt. I think it was trying to include every tribe that Sounds wrote about from Punk to Rockabilly and from Reggae to NWOBHM. Sounds only existed from 1970 to 1991 and I’d have got this some time in the very early 80s I reckon. Amazed it’s still hanging together. The artwork was by Edwin Pouncey (a.k.a. Savage Pencil).
