Sup and Paddle?!

After a trip to the hospital in Bath for Dad’s appointment (scan results were good, it hasn’t spread), N kindly took us on to a riverside pub for a quick lunchtime drink, which is where we came across the canoe hire. I’d prefer it if their slogan was Paddle then Sup, not a good idea to drink and paddle! Warm in the sunshine at 23 degrees.

This afternoon I waged battle with one corner of the attic, in preparation for tomorrow’s gas engineer. Discovered we had 16 suitcases of varying sizes! I also unearthed a cardboard shipping box that I used to send my belongings back from Australia 34 years ago! It has now gone off to cardboard heaven.
