Summer Exhibition

Paul and I took the day off today to go up to London to see the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy in London. There are train strikes today but on our line it just meant that the trains will stop running at 6, but we were back well before that. I was a little disappointed by the exhibition - I’d heard others say how good it was this year but I didn’t see a huge amount that wowed me. Hey ho, each to his or her own! Lots of the work had red dots so there were obviously things that other people liked. A tiring trip though - I slept a bit on the way home. I think it was quite humid today, plus it’s always tiring to look around an exhibition, especially when it’s busy.
