Soldier Beetles and Astrantia

Today I have spent most of the day dealing with paperwork and making phone calls about both my uncle's and my father's estates. There were quite a few letters regarding this whilst we were away with much still to do. 

A quick walk around the garden and these soldier beetles were busy amongst the Astrantia. This one is called Ruby Wedding I think and was grown from seed - this is the only one that survived the winter and I'm really pleased that it has flowered.
