My fennel seeds came up quite well

The reason I took this as my blip for today is the sun was shining on the fennel but not the wall, which I thought looked nice.  Met a friend at the outdoor cafe in the local park this morning.  Lovely to sit in the sunshine chatting for a few hours. Her son was my son’s best man, so there’s two generations of friendship. 
This afternoon I popped to Tesco for a few ingredients, then baked a birthday cake to take with me on the train tomorrow.
