Blame Kaybee…
For instilling the concept of my "Yellow Period" yesterday.
On a recent visit to Melki (I think) I spotted some White flowered Shallots and intended to try and rescue a few seeds. Yesterday @ Houghton they were mentioned and "The Events Organiser" A. K. A. Clicky decided that next Jerraday (Today) the pair of us would got and try to get some.
PROBLEM! Unlike both their, and my own, bog-standard Shallots, the white ones were much further advanced, with the seed heads "Liggin on t'Deck" (Lying on the Floor). I gathered up a number, in hope.
We shall SEE?
By an odd coincidence most of the insect life happened, coincidentally, to be interested mainly in Yellow/Ochre shaded. This " , " Butterfly
:¬) Had by accident or design (Are they colour-blind?) chosen to perch on a colour which, to a degree camouflaged it - to the extent that, first glance, I thought it was a blemish on the Hemerocallis (Day Lily) until I got as close as I dar before shooting this is the second step, at the third step "You're close enough Comrade I'm OFF!"
