I was here first

It appeared that this 'cleg' on my washing line was not for moving this morning. It sat patiently as I worked around it. It even obligingly moved a bit at one point for the peg to be positioned. I'm not keen on beasties and resisted the temptation to 'get rid'. Not sure if they are harmless or a pest!?
