Queen's Coronation Anniversary

Hectic day in York doing all the sights in glorious weather. Difficult to believe that a week ago we were shivering in a muddy field in tents at the Hay Book Festival.

Watched this military band perform- I am not sure what their proper title is- but they were celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Queen's Coronation.

Well, this is the kind of stuff that tourists love to see and confirms their ideas of quirky Olde Englande.
