The yuccas are blooming! Last year there was 9 flower stalks on this group of yuccas. This year there is at least 20. Not all of them have started blooming, I think 10 stalks had flowers on them today.
Another hot and humid day. There is a special weather statement out, rain is supposed to start sometime tomorrow and rain all weekend. 40 - 50 mm or more. We really don't need that much rain now. The farmers need sunshine and dry days, they are having a tough year.
