"I'm dreaming to be a King when I'm older. .
While driving to lunch after we picked up Eli from summer preschool, I heard that sweet sentence, "I'm dreaming to be a King when I'm older". That was followed by "I'll bring you a present." He then went on to say he would be an outdoor King, he wouldn't stay in the castle.
His mind was really working during that drive. As he was telling me "Someday when I can ride in an air ballon," (he's been watching the Wizard of Oz lately and remembers the Wizard flying off in a hot air balloon) he suddenly asked if I could make him one.
I love children's imaginations and all the wonderful places it takes them. There's nothing impossible or too hard to do.
After lunch with assorted plastic farm animals at Chili's with mac and cheese and strawberry lemonade, we went home to this.
The once and future King, swimming in his fountain.
