There may be trouble ahead…

This bank of cloud sat on the Jandia range of mountains and I understand that’s pretty normal. My ascent took me through the teeth of a howling gale, again pretty normal here, along a good track in the warm sun to the 812m high point of the island. Visibility poor to non existent meaning no dramatic view.
I’m always thankful to be able to climb hills at all but today was a bit of a trial albeit in shorts and T-shirt the whole way
