Holmfirth Almshouses
MrM was away for most part of the day - working for the bakery first thing, at the music shop for the rest of the day, and in the evening he went to an Irish Music Session in Huddersfield.
I was equally busy in a very different sort of way. Three loads of washing done and dried, and several other household chores tackled. Solicitor contacted. (She emailed later having phoned the 'buyers' solicitor. Apparently the searches are back but they haven't been reviewed. No completion date as yet...)
Walked in to Holmfirth in the afternoon to the PO, and to buy a few essentials. The almshouses are on the way - they have an interesting history which you can read more about here.
Gardening in the evening. As usual, spent longer than intended, but cleared a small overgrown area and planted some of the white foxgloves gifted by Jimmy and Sheena. More to plant tomorrow, weather permitting!
