A better image of the wood pecker on the bird feeder for my Blip.

Booked tickets for some more shows but went to the Box Office in Stratford rather than book online. The outcome - saved over £20 in booking fees and got 30% off ticket prices so an overall saving of £75.

More culture tonight with tickets for The Empress at the Swan Theatre. The play is set in the time of Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee and is about an ayah who travels from India to start a new life in Britain.

Interesting election results yesterday but a shame such a low turn out. Lots of spin from all the parties as to why the results are good/bad/not to bad/the London Mayor’s fault……..and lots more to come
