E very now and then I bring some peace to my mind by doing some scribbling. The last weeks were though.
E received a small adjustment to his wheelchair about six weeks ago, which causes a lot of discomfort when sitting. A new upholstery of the chair had to offer a solution, but getting used to this upholstery also takes time, because his sitting position has just changed slightly. The upholstery has a foam layer that has to adapt to E's body, and that takes time and a lot of perseverance. Every day he sits for two to three hours , rest and recover in bed for a while and sit again. Last week was the first week that it felt better. Not all good yet, but he can sit almost the whole day again. Not a day too early, because next week the Open Dutch Chess Championship starts in which he wants to participate in reserve group A. Everything is arranged, accommodation, registration and company, but then you have to be able to go there!
