Last of the foothill villages

Rain was forecast today but luckily it didn’t happen. After a steep climb up it was another spectacular inter-village balcony path high above the opposite side of the valley to yesterday. Then a pleasant hike through pines over a col, down the other side to Areu, last of the villages on this stretch. It’s not as lively as last night, more of a workaday place with agriculture still a theme. Interesting old water powered sawmill. There are lots of butterflies- I even managed to photo one today.
