Rain stops play...!

I got to school in the nick of time (a call as I was leaving asking me to sort something out delayed me. I had to explain it wouldn't be sorted today and better planning was needed as it was urgent for no reason than poor planning. Obviously, I used some very different phrases! 

Anyway, boys collected, ice-cream van at school provided by the PFA. And of course, the hevens opened on us. Not that anyone was deterred by the rain when a free ice-cream was on offer! 

We then went to a friends house who had 32 children for a playdate, and a bouncy castle! Much fun, lots of chatting with the mum friends.

Two very happy boys with what feels like an eternity ahead of them with no school.
