Bee on a marigold

We're finally seeing more bees in the garden, and I love working out there and hearing them buzz around! I added an extra of one on a Cupid's Dart. Still not as many as we've had in the past, but maybe more will arrive.
Kalyn and Spencer had planned to arrive later this afternoon, but he got a call from family in Seattle and had to go asap to see his sick uncle. So...Kalyn and Renata are coming instead. Disappointing for K&S and we were looking forward to their visit. Always great to see Renata though, and lucky that she could join Kalyn at the last minute. We'll pick them up at the ferry and go right to Auntie Pesto's for dinner. I had asked Kalyn if she'd like to try another restaurant, but she replied that Auntie Pesto's is a must and the Carbonara is calling her name! She has it every time she comes for a visit.  :-)
They leave on Sunday afternoon, so a short visit, but we'll have a great time!
