Morecambe Bay

After a very busy market this morning we decided to visit Leighton Moss for a bit of relaxation. We had some soup and then a wander around the reserve, then down to the coastal hides where some spoonbills and a long billed dowitcher have been seen. We saw avocets and godwits, but not the visitors. One of the welcomers had told us about a viewpoint you can reach that looks down on the back of the lagoons so we had a try there. And the five spoonbills were there! Not really visible in the photo and they weren’t doing much spooning but definitely there! And a lovely view.
Lots of lovely spider name thank you!!
