Flowers for Anni

I had to get a photo of flowers for Flower Friday today. Here is a Penstemon plant in my garden at the beach; Hummingbirds like it but they are loving the Crocosmia right now so it is being ignored.

We drove to the small town at the marina this evening. We were expecting it to be crowded with no parking, but we found a place to park right away. There was no traffic on Hwy 101 getting there, very surprised. People had set up about 50 booths selling everything from homemade baked goods to tye-dyed shirts and everything in between. The live music in the big event tent was very good and we sat down to eat our Elephant Ears with honey butter to listen to them. We had a pleasant evening, but I felt sorry for the vendors; I didn't see one person buying anything except those silly Elephant Ears. 

On the way home we saw four fawns, two does, and a buck in a meadow near our house. They are unafraid of humans; both of these photos were 20 feet from a house. 

Now we are home and hubby has already fallen asleep in his recliner.  I am getting ready for bed too.
