A blip of a blip!!

I think our ongoing bedroom revamp will go down as the longest room regeneration in history!

It really began in June 2021 with window renovation, but restarted in earnest last October and continued during November. There was then a hiatus for Christmas and the birth of our Toronto Grandson: work restarted in  March (here and here). In April we chose wallpaper and then the decorator came later that month. Work then stopped for another trip to Toronto (April/May) and a tour round the UK in June, followed by a lovely visit from lots of family members.

So at last we think we're on the "finishing straight". We chose some lovely new radiators which arrived yesterday - but on unwrapping them today we found a nasty dent in one of them. Bother! So it'll have to go back and we'll have to wait a few days for a replacement.

Once I've plumbed in the radiators (which I want to do during summer as the heating will have to be off for at least a couple of days) we can invite the carpet fitters to come - hopefully by the middle of August...?!
