Cwm Idwal gate....Snowdonia

This gate was made to the memory of a local quarryman who became a self taught expert on the Snowdonia flora, sadly he gradually became blind.This gate was designed by Joseph Samuel Roberts and made by local blacksmith artist Dylan Parry.
It mimics the contours of the mountain range behind so blind people can run their hand on it and get a better perspective of where they are....
