On Target

It’s always a treat to see a hummingbird, especially after they disappeared last month. I only see a female now but I’m hoping there will be a juvenile or two visiting next month • We’ve been taking care of a Weigela bush all summer in a pot and finally today the temperatures were comfortable enough for me to get it planted in our perennial bed. It’s called Wine & Roses, offering deep pink flowers in spring and burgundy foliage all summer and fall • We’re pleased the USA Women won their first World Cup match last night, as did England earlier this morning. Looking forward to cheering our team on Wednesday vs Netherlands • Peace & Love on this Saturday!
