Heracleum sphondylium

A particularly photogenic umbel of our native Hogweed (Heracleum sphondylium) beside one of our local lanes, while in today's 'Extra', a Bumblebee hunts for nectar in the flower of a Thistle (Cirsium sp.) beside a nearby footpath.
